    Souring a stout

    Going to do a ten gallon batch of O'flannagains standard stout, I want to sour half of it. Is it benefitial or necessary to add the soured 24oz back to the fermenter before, after, or during fermentation of the unsoured portion?     Bulk grains online?

    Where is everybody buying their bulk grain from. I can find good prices on it online but shipping makes it ridiculous. The LHBS are about an hour away and their prices are more than shipped prices from some of the better online stores. How do you guys deal with this?
