    Thanks for the feedback and info. I have been dumping it down the drain but wanted to confirm that was kosher.

    I had no problem with the poppet either. I did get a Firestone post instead of Cornilius as it has a shorter threaded area. Maybe that is the way to avoid this possible problem.

    My house is on a Septic system. I just wanted to see if there are any known concerns for using either of these with a septic system? I don't want to negatively impact my necessary bacteria in the tank when I dump my used cleaner down the drain.

    Have to agree, I got all the stuff I needed this week and tried it out before pushing my first (first two brews ever) 2 batches that had been carbing through my newly made kegerator. Worked great, the beer is great as well.

    Can you really get the inside of that can clean enough? This does interest me a little. Golf course homebrew sounds good.

    That sucks, isn't part of the reason to use one of those places because they are secure? I would check out the craigslist idea depending on what you need. I was able to snag a really nice brew pot and nice keg setup off there for pretty reasonable. I do have to say the stuff on there tends to...

    I love this place. I log in tonight looking for line cleaning advice, this is exactly what I was hoping to find. Only wish I would have thought about it before picking up supplies this afternoon. I guess I will just have to make another trip to get the post.
