    Dark Mild Mild Mannered Ale (AG) (E) UK/US

    I put down a half batch of this yesterday. My second BIAB attempt. Pretty much hit all the numbers. OG 1039 I used us05 as I couldn't get my hands on any Nottingham. Really excited about this one.

    Coopers dark ale

    Hi SippinSudz I'm not surprised that your brew is a bit on the bitter side. A Coopers Dark can in a half batch will be something close to this OG: 1.055 ALC%: 5.7 IBU: 77.6 It will mellow out over time in the bottle.

    Coconut Light Ale

    A recipe i saw on here once (coconut porter) used organic flaked coconut in the secondary, kind of like a dry hop. The coconut was roasted before it was added.
