    $6.99 Drill Operated Cayboy Cleaner

Here's my version. I could not find a microfiber cloth that was big enough, so I had to use two side by side. It works very well. I also took it a step further and built a drill operated bottle cleaner. The bottle brush never does a thorough enough job for me, but this one cleans the bottle...

Older 5 Gal. Keg - Can't Find Parts

Just got off the phone with someone from International Carbonic http://www.ici.us/ He said they don't have anything in stock, and that they don't make kegs anymore, but he would try to find someone that could help. I sent him pictures and details. We'll see if it goes anywhere.

Older 5 Gal. Keg - Can't Find Parts

4 1/8" OD, 3 3/16" ID, 7/16" High, and the groove is 1/4' deep. Let me know if you need any different measurments, or if you find something. Still no response from the mfr yet.

Older 5 Gal. Keg - Can't Find Parts

Thanks for the lead. I emailed the company, but not holding my breath. They don't appear to even sell kegs anymore. If I can't get a reply from the manufacturerer, there's a restaurant supply store in town that might have something for me.

Older 5 Gal. Keg - Can't Find Parts

My neighbor found this keg at a yard sale and picked it up for me. It looks solid and useable, but older. The gaskets are shot. My LHBS was able to help with replacing the o-rings on the pin lock connectors, but had no idea about finding a replacement gasket for the lid. I called Pepsi and...

    $6.99 Drill Operated Cayboy Cleaner

After struggling to clean my 6.5gal carboy, I found and copied this idea. It worked like a charm, especially on the leftover krausen nastiness that sticks to the sides and dries for days on end. Plus it just looks cool when the drill gets the suds flying around the inside of the carboy...

    Hop Combinations

Does anyone out there know of a good reference for hop combinations in designing recipes? I've done some searching through HBT and online and have found tons of info on personal preferences, etc. as well as detailed descriptions of hop characteristics. What I haven't found is a resource that...

What's this? Fermentation doesn't look right.

I've been "off the grid" for a couple of days. Thanks for the response. I looked through some other threads and found some pictures that looked familiar https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f14/identify-nasty-155138/ Based on that and all the response, my dog DID NOT somehow open the lid and puke...

What's this? Fermentation doesn't look right.

I used Wyeast 1056. What's it doing up on top? It's been sitting at about 66 degrees all week.

What's this? Fermentation doesn't look right.

I brewed a blonde ale last Sat. Everything was going well, airlock was very active, then settled down, No off smells or anything. Last night I decided to take a peek, and saw this. I'm a noob, about a half dozen or so brews under my belt, so I got a little excited, but after reading a few...
