    My never finished pour room

The little helper's name IS Carson, but that is pure coincidence. He likes to brew with me. I shouldn't sell him, that's what I've been told (and since he thinks a sip of double oatmeal stout is "yummy" I think he's a keeper).

    My never finished pour room

more smoke and the holding cell/fermentation chamber out in the garage. My helper looks like he's been samplin'! Car is for sale cheap BTW.

    My never finished pour room

The smoke just makes you thirsty and you drink more. Then after a few pints it becomes a challenge to see just how much smoke you can make before the 'Boss' tells you to go outside...

    My never finished pour room

I'd have to unload the kids, cars, bikes, sailboat, cutting the grass and the other things in life that keep slowing me down! At least the beer flows.....I need some door hanging skills to close out the cabinets, then a bar top (stained plywood for now, but I left myself 2" to bring it up to bar...

    My never finished pour room

Started with an empty shell, and now seem to have run out of steam...or should I say money!!

Do your under age kids drink w/you at home?

Every beautiful place I go in the States (and you do have an abundance) is festooned with signage listing what is prohibited. My travels in Canada are list free. 18 is the the age to vote and drink. I've never been asked to prove that I am married to get a hotel room in this country. Don't get...

Do your under age kids drink w/you at home?

Enforcing the letter of the law is great for Communist countries. I am always amazed at the authority worship when I travel in the States (which I do often). I am proud to live in the freedom of Canada (overtaxed as we are). My 4 year old Son helps me brew and helps to taste. I hope it prevents...

    Hello from Ontario

Until your garden grows, try the Festa Brew kits if you have access to them in your area. They are working well for me until my brew space is completed.

    From sunny Coteau du Lac

Our house had the provision for a third bathroom in the basement (drains etc), which left me with 100 sq feet of unfinished space. I lucked out on a used True tdd1 which fits two half kegs on the back shelf and four full Cornies in the main section. I now only have two taps, but ideally I'd like...

Thanks. I've got my 3 year old helping every step of the way. Everything takes longer. I'll post pics of the mini pub when I'm done.

    $300 to invest

I'm really happy to not be washing bottles..With kids and car projects, time is short, draft beer is cool. Then again, I'm easily distracted by shiny sparkly stuff. Get it all, have fun, you only live once!

Finally joined the fun. I've been kegging Festa Brew kits as well as my local store's 'super batch' (they do all the recepies and hard work, I add water, boil and pitch. I have also made several batches of cider using fresh juice from Frier's of Rockburn, Qc. I've gone a little crazy and am...
