    Just figured I'd share some amazing deals I got this week. Walgreens by me (Treasure Island, FL) has 2lbs of honey for $3... might wanna check your local stores to see if they have the same deal... I'm assuming it's not the best honey in the world... but it is honey... and it's a damn good...

    strange priming/sweetening ideas...

    reading a few threads about Dr Pepper beer... and trying to brew Mt. Dew successfully... I'm thinking about doing some experimenting myself. But to avoid issues with preservatives and such, I'm thinking a good way to get the flavor, without the hassle... is just to use these substances AFTER...

    carb and sweeten idea for consideration...

    I'm doing several batches of cider... and was going through different concepts for sparkling and sweet cider... and got an idea: If we primed a batch... and put it into... say, 2L bottles... to carb up... and THEN add camden to kill the yeast once it's carbbed... will it keep the carbonation...

    does caffeine ferment out?

    Kind of a silly question... but I couldn't find anyone who's addressed it yet. Going over recipes... I see several that use Black Tea. Cool concept... but I assume that means that the final product is caffeinated... right? Or does it magically ferment out? I like the little details... heh!!

    I seem to find the reasons and methods for cold crashing just find, but I can't seem to find anything that tells my WHY I need to keep the product cold after crashing.     iphone app with cider timers/calcs?

    I've tried just about every brew and fermentation app I can get my hands on, and none of them have options for ciders and/or meads... etc... maybe I've just overlooked them, but does anyone know of any with these features? Really just looking for a log and simple calc to keep me organized...
