MW3, what is your screen name

lol truth. I owned Oblivion...probably put about 16 hours of play into it. Then I flipped it on one day and realized I had done nothing but collect flowers and attempt to rob one house for the length of that 16 hours. So I'm gonna have to pass on the new one. lol

How do you guys clean your glasses and how/where do you store them?

Regular pint glasses go in dishwasher. Special/rare/fragile glasses get washed by hand. Then they all go in the glass cabinet where I keep all the special glasses.

    Top 10 Beer states

You west coasters sure know how to make beer, but just don't know how to drink it. :cross:

Does anyone else think it's stupid to have an age check on brewery websites?

Truth. But that's different, as the responsibility is left up to the cable company to determine what they want to broadcast for their commercials. They'd get sued, not the breweries. And honestly, I highly doubt anheuser busch is worried about any lawsuits...they must have an office building...

Does anyone else think it's stupid to have an age check on brewery websites?

The internet is relatively anonymous. It is the responsibility of the parent to monitor their child's internet habits. These age checks defer the responsibility to the parent. Parent: How dare you let my son view alcoholic advertisements! I'm suing! Company: Ma'am, we have age checks on our...

Does anyone else think it's stupid to have an age check on brewery websites?

Its not about preventing underage access...its about deferring responsibility.

    Best of Vermont's Breweries?

I went to Magic Hat a couple years ago, and it was great, you could drink as much as you want, buy as much as you want... Went back the next year, and they barely let you drink two 4oz samples before kicking you out the door. And they wouldn't sell growlers for whatever reason. Maybe it was...

Beer product placement - good and bad

True. For me it depends on the product. Something generic like bottled water or computer printer paper...store brand is fine. But anything with flavor, or where quality determines my enjoyment of that product...I'll generally go brand-name.

Netflix has decided to increase my plan price by 60%

One DVD per month, or say...4-5 dvds per month based on how quickly you get/return them? That's pretty good if its the latter. So long as they have decent distribution times. That video-game rental place, GameFly...takes a good 2-3 months to receive each game. [facepalm]

Plastic Melted into Wort!!! Oh Noo!

What's wrong with (the concept of) dry hopping?

Maybe its a west coast thing? Over here on the East Coast, dry hopping is viewed much better.

Plastic Melted into Wort!!! Oh Noo!

I definitely wouldn't risk it. Unless the melted part is somehow still in one piece. But if its gooey? Plastic is the last thing you want in your body. Keep the raspberries, start a new batch.

Good. Comcast can [expletive deleted] off. lol Only private company I know of that has worse customer service than the DMV.

Beer product placement - good and bad

I generally do both. I like the background noise of the tv. Product placements/commercials obviously don't work immediately...they work on our memory. If I see a commercial for Gorton's fried fish, I'm probably not going to get up right then and go out and pick up a pack of fried fish...

    Drinking beer with a straw!?!

Ahh college...how I miss thee. When you're too poor to afford an AC so your female roommates walk around in their underwear...:mug:

Beer product placement - good and bad

In Forgetting Sarah Marshall they drink Kona B.C. at the bar...very fitting.

Does anyone else think it's stupid to have an age check on brewery websites?

Not around here. You generally won't see them before 9pm or so. But we live in very different states. Average age of you state is what? 63? lol. And those checks certainly do have a bearing on parental guidance. It removes the ability of the parents organizations to sue the...
