    Just finished the boil of an american style amber. using yeast starter from my american style pale that I am close to perfecting. Don't know what will be brewed next. Probably a Marzen for Octoberfest.

    How often do you brew?

    I try to brew every 2-3 weeks, but sometimes it get to be more like 2-3 months. Hate those times, since I have to spend my money of micro-brews vice brewing supplies.

    turkey fryer for wort boil?

    I had purchased the Bayou fryer to start out with, but after about five or six batches, I developed pitting holes in the bottom of the aluminum pot and had to upgrade to a SS pot. Been using that ever since.

    How did you find us?

    I found a Google Gadget that linked me to this site for recipes, then had a friend point me here for a topic on yeast washing. after reading these and others, I decided to join. And now here I am realizing what a good choice this was. Great site and love all the good info, including the DIY area.
