Why Not

I finally have the go ahead to build one. Is there any changes that you would have done differently after running them. Also can I use a cement floor or would I have to epoxy it or raise it. All help would be greatly appreciated.

A dorm fridge With a styrofoam box. its usually my fermenter but for right now its my beer cellar. It works just fine with my old Johnson analog controller so i know my set up will get down to that temp. I even plugged the 2nd controller I built in and it does the same thing.

The whole system works just fine. It just won't go below 20c. Very strange.

I have read this thing all the way through and didnt see anything about this so Im going to throw it out there. I have built 2 of these and both seem to not want to go below 20c. I know on my love controllers have a setting for temps above this degree and a temps below that degree , but didnt...

I had the same problem with mine, that both tanks wouldnt fit. I just trimmed out the sides. Ill post some pics later( I also did some modifications after a couple of test runs)

When I get home from work Ill show you what I did. I took the hoses off and screwed in a 3/8" nipple and then attached to my regulator.

I would go with the piantball 20oz tank they are cheap enough on ebay.

yea I have ball lock and pinlock 3 gallon cornies. I had to modify the sides ( cut out and remove insulation). I'm looking at fiberglass tomake it water tight again. I also used a fire Extinguisher cradle to mount the tanks.

Heres mine. I moved my tank to the outside, It kept freezing on me.

Go to the nearest store and buy one of the miller lite home draft. I had someone drink and brought me the empty. It came apart fairly easy. going to test it out this weekend.

Yep ,Transfer to a new one and crash cool, they arent that heavy with 10-12 gallons.

My LHBS was closing them out so i got them for 2 for $5.00. They didnt just want to throw them out

Go and get the LME containers from your LHBS. Thats what I use
