    Wheat substituting

    I am brewing a cream ale today. It calls for flaked wheat. I do not have any on had and the lhbs doesn't carry. Can I use wheat extract as a substitute for the flaked wheat?

    What have i done?

    I brewed a kit on saturday, followed the instructions to a T. Sanitized every thing, cleaned everything like i was to do. Placed the wort in the bucket with the water and this is what i have today Do i have an infection?
