    Do not drink it, unless you enjoy lead poisoning.:rolleyes: Some hydrometers use steel instead of lead. Collect some of the metal, if its magnetic, its steel and probably safer to drink that if it was non-magnetic lead. I know pouring all of your brew down the drain will probably kill you...

    OG too low.

    Thank you for putting my mind at ease. I'm very detail oriented and was very careful with measurement and timing, which is why I was a little taken back by the OG reading. If you say its fine, so be it! :)

    Brewed a True Brew Pale Ale and the OG was 1.020, but called for 1.040-1.050ish. I'm still new to brewing and didn't know how to fix it. I figured it would be ok and stuck it in the primary, but is there anything I should/could do?

    I bought some Brewers Best merchandise - a deluxe kit, some recipes and a bunch of carboys from a local retail store. My problem is there are several items missing that I ordered in the delux kit and the contact link on their website is not working. Does anyone know how to get a hold of them...
