    I have just siphoned my cider to a pressure barrel for the second fermentation and was wondering if I should have added some campden tablets? All my kit was sterilised and the cider tasted ok, if a little yeasty Cheers Russ

    found the problem, the bung on the fermentation barrel is leaking :) i twisted the airlock a little and its now bubbling like mad!! many thanks folks!!
