    Hi all, I will be doing a 5liter brew this weekend and I have scaled the recipe from a standard 23liter brew. Do I also need to scaled the yeast or can I just use the whole 11g? The yeast I have is Lallemand Danstar Nottingham Yeast For Home Brew Ale Beer Brewing 11g.

    Owly, Its like baking on a commercial scale... we no longer talk on the same level as home made. its by the kilos but the same principal still applies in scaling up. what is interesting to me is, how do you ensure quality and integrity of the beer regardless of the size.
