Hey guys, in the last few days, I've noticed an increasing amount of june bugs hanging out on my hop leaves. They are putting holes everywhere. What's the best way to get rid of them for hops?
Got mine Saturday. It has been working great. Set my refrigerator to 67 for fermenting and it has been staying right on. Super fast shipping too. Thanks again!
Hey guys, a lot of my leaves have a slight discoloration on them. I checked them pretty closely and I don't see any bugs. What could it be? Should I be worried?
Did you have to glue the top back on, I'm assuming? What did you use if so? Would you ditch the copper tubing and just make a bigger hole and run a fan into the inside hole?
Don't know if your local grocery store has them but you can buy Murray's Apple cider which comes in a clear half gallon jug/growler. It's $2.99 here. Then you can use the cider to make hard cider or whatever else...
I have been double pitching on anything that has required or recommended a starter and it has worked just fine. I agree on the money factor though; I'm sure DME will be cheaper.
If you can go the Sam's route that'd be the way to go I guess. Unfortunately I didn't know anyone that had Sam's club card. I ended up buying this one for $48+ tax at a local restaurant supply shop.
FYI, offers are welcome.
I was doing a tour of a small local brewery and they mentioned their ales they will transfer to the serving tanks a week after brewing. I had their IPA and an IIPA and they were great. Not too sure how old they were though...
Here at my local Sam's club it was $40 + tax (called them when I was looking for one a couple months ago) but the membership alone was $40. I didn't want to go that route.
Hey guys, I am selling my 6 gallon (24qt) aluminum pot. I just upgraded to a 10 gallon and don't have enough room to keep this one. I have two of these and they are great pots. I purchased it about 2 months ago. I'd like to get $30 out of it. Shipping should be about $12 via UPS ground or you...
I have issues with a full 6 gallon boil on my stovetop. It will do it, but my burners have bent, the top starts sagging and the clean up for any drips/boil overs is a lot of work.
