    Consecration kit from MoreBeer

What is the best temperature to store the bottled beer in after bottling with the corn sugar / wine yeast, while we wait for carbonation?

    Consecration kit from MoreBeer

Can anybody else confirm this and/or add any additional info to this? I'm getting ready to bottle tonight, and want to make sure I put the right amount of Wine Yeast in the bottling bucket, along with the priming sugar. Also, after I bottle the beer, is it best to let it carbonate at room...

Really? wow, if so, the instructions on the kit are pretty lame and vague.

How much wine yeast should I use in the bottling bucket? one tiny 5 gram package?

    Consecration kit from MoreBeer

I've read this whole thread, and I don't see any info on what to do with the wine yeast at bottling time. Do I just transfer beer from my carboy to the bottling bucket, add in some dry wine yeast (recipe doesn't say which kind), stir it slowly to combine, and then bottle? Do you add any...

    Vissani 52 Wine Bottle Kegerator

Ya fermentors fit fine.... I've done a few batches already in my 2 Vissani's.... In fact i took my fermenting bucket to Home Depot to make sure it fit before I bought them! LOL

    Vissani 52 Wine Bottle Kegerator

Yah it seems decent. Since I lowered it it's coming out around 44-45 or so. Seems awesome. It's a Pliny the Elder clone.... it's effing great.

    Vissani 52 Wine Bottle Kegerator

Ya it seems to have finally cooled down some... my Johnson controls digital display says 45, but the beer coming out says around 49 or so... not sure what's up with that... i turned the Johnson controls unit down to 39 to see what it does. It'll probably take another day or two to get to 39...

    Vissani 52 Wine Bottle Kegerator

Thanks for the info. Any thoughts on how I should have the PSI set during this time to get the beer carbonated correctly? I've read so many various things about it that I don't know which is best. I had it set at 30 for the first day, and then I turned the pressure down a ways. Right now the...

    Vissani 52 Wine Bottle Kegerator

I just kegged my first 2 beers last night and put them in the Vassani... I have the Vassani plugged into a Johnson Controls temperature control unit. I put the temperature probe on the side of one of the kegs, and taped a thawed freezer ice pack around it. I set the digital Johnson Control to...

    Vissani 52 Wine Bottle Kegerator

The prices seemed a bit more to me on KegCowboy, but maybe I was looking at it wrong I guess. I don't understand what the relief valve with knobs on the base regulator means, or how that's different. I guess I don't know how all that stuff works, lol.

    Vissani 52 Wine Bottle Kegerator

I wonder if I should just buy it locally here in Houston. http://www.kegcowboy.com is located here in Houston, and maybe their stuff would be as good as kegconnection. It looks like KegCowboy has an upgraded type of regulator as well...

    Vissani 52 Wine Bottle Kegerator

Hi there guys... I really appreciate the time and effort you've given to responses! Very nice of you, thanks! Victor that is a pretty detailed description, and I don't think I exactly understand half of it, lol. Sounds like you sure know what you're doing! I'm such a n00b when it comes to...

Also I'm wondering, which kegerator did you get on kegconnection.com?

    Vissani 52 Wine Bottle Kegerator

Hmm, they've gotten pretty good reviews on the Home Depot website. I haven't seen (after much looking) any unfavorable comments really about the Vissani 52 bottle cooler at Home Depot... so I'm not really sure what to do now I guess.

    Vissani 52 Wine Bottle Kegerator

So you think the Vissani will work ok? What about when hooked up to a Johnson Controls temperature controller to regulate the temperature for fermenting ale at around 67degrees or so in the Vissani? Even though you abandoned your Vissani, do you still think I might be able to use it ok for...

In your photos I don't see the fan mounted on the ceiling inside the fridge.... how did you mount that? How are you powering the fan?

    Vissani 52 Wine Bottle Kegerator

I am new to the kegging world, haven't tried it yet with my HomeBrew, but I'm ready too. After seeing this thread I went to Home Depot today and bought one of these exact Vissani 52 bottle wine-coolers. I'm interested to see where this thread goes so I can learn more about this unit. So...
