This was a Coopers IPA kit I souped up by steeping some grains and adding some hops during the 10 minute boil I did, fermenting in the primary for about 10 days and then dry hopping for three days. Should be ready to drink on 2/25/12. Let's hope it's tasty.

    Ipa suggestions

I love the Ranger IPA and bought a kit from Austin Homebrew that I am about to do for my 2nd batch. It had very good reviews at the site, may be worth a look. Cheers.

    Ranger IPA

Probably my favorite beer in my rotation right now, I love hoppy and crisp and this delivers for the price.

    New guy from Orangeburg, SC

Hi folks, I got a basic Gold brew kit (6 gal glass carboy, bottling pail, accessories) with a Coopers IPA kit for Christmas. Now I'm searching for the brew pot and other basic items I'll need. I attended a Palmetto State Brewers Club meeting in Columbia Monday night and thoroughly enjoyed it...

Batch size question, Kettle Size question - Noob

I have a gas range and was concerned about that, but I also have a King Kooker turkey fryer I can use outside. Can I do a 5 gal boil on the range with a 15?
