    DME varieties

    I found a recipe for the DogFish Head 90 Min IPA that says to use DME. I've never used DME and I'm not really sure what types are out there. The recipe doesn't specify a variety, such as light, dark, pale, etc. Can anyone suggest a variety of DME that would work for the 90 Min IPA?

    second fermentation QUESTION?

    I am new to brewing and transferred to a carboy for second fermentation. There doesn't seem to be any action. I haven't seen any bubbles coming out of the airlock although the air is right at the edge of the inner piece. Does this seem right? Is it ready to bottle? :confused:

    Hydrometer reading!?!??

    Hey my friends and I are new to brewing and I just dont understand the hydrometer! My OG was 1.035 and read that I had to do another reading between first and second fermentation. That reading was 1.1025. This just doesn't make sense to me. Can anyone please help! If the 1.1025 was my final...
