    Trouble getting clear beer

I’ve been having a problem. The last 3 or 4 beers have not been clearing. All have been hazy. I use Whirlfloc in the boil and on the last one I also used Clarity Ferm. I cold crash down to 32-35 degrees. What am doing wrong or not doing? Thanks

    March pumps squealing

Thanks for the replies. So after the replies here, I figured out they don't have any teflon washers. Ordered some washers and put them in and now no squeal. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

    March pumps squealing

I have two March 809 pumps and both are making a horrible squealing noise when running. It doesn’t matter if it’s a low or high flow of liquid. I took them apart and it is coming from the shaft that the blade rotates on. Does anyone know how to fix it?

    Insulation for Mash Tun

I have a 20 gal Stout kettle for my Mash Tun and I think it is in need of insulation. I use a RIMS tube for heating and I like it, but the temperature of the wort coming out of the RIMS tube and the temp measured lower in the grains is 5-7 degrees lower. I adjusted my RIMS temp up 5...

    Blue Moon Clone

I just wanted to say thanks to Wayne, Nilo and others for all the work they have put into this thread and to homebrewing to allow us to make a beer similar to Blue Moon. I broke in my single-tier 20-gallon RIMS system this weekend following Wayne's recipe from post from post 429. I...
