    Well, with quite a bit of holiday travel and busy-work, in addition to a well padded pipeline, I had the luxury of letting this one sit in primary. It's down to 1.028 from 1.066, so I'll be bottling tomorrow most likely. A bit higher than I would have hoped for, I may have not grown my starter...

    So far so good! I came in with a higher gravity, about 1.064, not that I mind. I used a little more Black Patent just because I had about 12 oz sitting around to use up. Also, the LHBS didn't have Windsor yeast, but suggested an alternative for a Milk Stout, a limited release Wyeast, 1469 West...

    The pipeline held strong, happy holidays

    Just wanted to spout my love of the pipeline. I started brewing back in September, and I'm about 6 batches in. I nursed slowly waiting for our big annual thanksgiving dinner, and the goal was attained! I managed to drink only homebrew along with my wife all day yesterday and was passing them...
