Anyone reserve and use the leftover solids for a dessert? I have followed the thread since the beginning, and thought I remembered someone saying they ate the solids. I've seen recipes where people do a similar ferment just a couple days for the purpose of eating the rice, just not sure about...

Nothing here yet. I'm hoping to also hear more about the Philly Beer Week event next May/June. Supposedly I qualified for that but I don't see a lot of info yet. I know I will need to brew again so that I have enough beer to pour.... Anyone done that one before?

For what it's worth, I just noticed a very similar thing with a cider I made, and in my case I was determining how much pumpkin spice infusion to put in a keg of finished, brilliantly clear cider, by adding drops of it to a glass. I was dismayed to see the infusion turn to ropey strings...

This might be a stupid question, but how do you guys know if you got the right sheets? I have just been scrutinizing the notes to decide if they are. Edit : I mean, of course the category matches but I could be reading someone else's sheet from that category.
