Hello all, I have conceded to the fact that I will never be able to finish building my dream brewery. I have almost everything you need, minus the heating elements, and some plumbing. Everything is brand new. I did not spare any expenses, I special ordered the kettles from Stout Tanks and...

Fs, Anvil Foundry10.5 gallon, Anvil Brew Bucket7.5 gallon

Cutting back on my drinking, means I probably shouldn’t be making 5 gallons of beer at a time. Bought the system in the summer, and made a few batches. It worked great, and super easy to use unlike my old propane set up. It can be used on 120 V or 220v. I have only used it on 120V. Comes with...

Heading up to Vermont without my skies was weird.

But worth it... First time up to Hill Farmstead, and it was quite the trip. Glad that they are doing well. However it would have been nice to be able to talk to some one about their brewery, and process. Waited in line for 2 hours to get my beer, it was nice to have a server serving...

Converting to multiple regulators: hardware ?

Makes sense to me. Play around with both regulators and see what hand thread you got. Or just take them both to Airgas, their is one in west springfield and tell them what you want to do, they should stock the nipple you need no matter what the tread is. If not they can order it for you you...

    Keggle? Mash Tun?

Well you need three different vessels, so pick your poison. It is the chicken or the egg, I have three different keggles, and none of them came first.

Converting to multiple regulators: hardware ?

Yes you can, the right and left input are straight through. So you could remove your tank gauge(the one on the left that tells you how much pressure is in your tank) run a nipple(1/4npt if I rember correctly) to your new regulator, add your existing tank pressure gauge to the far left side...

EBay Auction item. Jaybird 15" reversed hinged, handle and Level 1

Sorry for the confusion, I watched your little video and I already have a 15" hinged FB with out handle, so I will be able to add one of the level 1-3 FB stands/filters to my mash tun. I also have your 12" hop blocker which is 1.5" tall in my boil kettle, and wouldn't mind adding the added...

EBay Auction item. Jaybird 15" reversed hinged, handle and Level 1

Will any of them work with the 12" hop blocker? I am also glad I didn't get my FB with a handle on it, now I can use it reversed hinged with one of these filters.

Brewed my first batch yesterday in two years. I definitely forgotten a few things.

Thanks for the response. OT, the GTI was a highly modified 1.8T I built but never got it on the road, when life got in the way of me brewing it also got in the way of my cars. I sold it to a guy that runs a machine shop in town and a small side business that builds cars and parts for VWs...

Brewed my first batch yesterday in two years. I definitely forgotten a few things.

Well after a little over a two year hiatus, I am back brewing. It feels better then ever. When I started brewing 3.5 years ago I did a few partial mash brews, then jumped in balls deep, built a rig, and never looked back. I then had a job that I had to do for a friend that forced me...

    Jaybird's Stainless False Bottoms

I have to echo all of the positive comments, my extraction rate went way up with one compared to my old cooler with manifold. The hop stopper works good as well, but the false bottom is awesome. Hitting all the target OG's if not more.
