Does Beer Taste Change Much After Botteling?

Hi Folks, I just bottled my double IPA brew. Now I need to wait 3 weeks for carbonation. I drank a little from the last bottle that I couldn't completely fill. It actually tastes pretty damn good already, other than being a bit flat. Other than the carbonation, does the taste really change...

    Did the head fall?

Thank you everyone for your prompt responses. @ hellebrewer: yes I am dry hopping. This is only my third brew and wasn't sure. My last two amber ale brews were so clear when the head fell, I wasn't sure if it was different with a different beer. BTW, it smells so good! I cannot wait to drink...

    Did the head fall?

I am brewing a double IPA, loaded with hops. Now the instructions on the kit tell me to transfer to the second container when the head falls (1-3 days). I am on my 3rd day and am not sure if the head has completely fallen or if this is some floating hops. Any suggestions? Thanks

My first batch.. with a unusual story...

Well, I bought a brewing kit this weekend and started my first batch last evening, YES! I thought it was a good idea to choose my bedroom as the fermentation room and keep it air conditioned at 70 deg F. So I went to bed, and woke up a few hours later with the boiled wort smell filling my...
