Can I Leave my Beer Gun Connected?

That's a great point. I didn't even think of that. But other than the button, does anyone have a concern about leaving beer in the gun and than just purging it before the next fill session?

Can I Leave my Beer Gun Connected?

I'm new to kegging and trying to figure out the beer gun at the same time. I just put a line splitter into one of my hoses and now I'm wondering if I can just leave the gun connected and stored in the kegerator. Or do I need to disconnect, clean, and sanitize each session I bottle?

    Priming Sugar

The sugar will pump up you abv a bit. If you want the beer to be carbinated, you will have to add more sugar when bottling. You can just use some cane sugar (plain white sugar) if you don't have any corn sugar.

New Beer TV show on Discovery! "How Beer saved the world"

when my girlfriend was up I asked her to grab me a......BEER. Not sure I can say the word without an obnoxious pause and strained pronunciation. The only good part was the chic that implied she does sexual favors for..... BEER. see there I go again.

    Dear Brew Gods

Thanks for the support. All said and done, including lunch and I trip the hardware store to pick up some new tubing, it took about 11 hours. But at least I have 20 gallons bottled. The day I return from my honeymoon I'm starting the kegerator project.

    Dear Brew Gods

A little over two weeks ago I had an amazing brew day. I bottled a batch of stout, racked another, and brewed up three batches of Graff. I was up till 6:30 in the morning. It was awesome. Tomorrow I have to pay the toll. All four batches have to be bottled in order to be ready in time. Now...

    What else can go wrong?

As you keep brewing I am sure you'll add dozens of things to the "what else can go wrong list". Relax and fight all temptation to dump. I submerged my entire hand up to my elbow in my bottling bucket to retrieve a piece of chocolate that fell out of my mouth (wow that sounds a lot grosser than I...

    Just bottled my first batch!

You got the right idea brewing another batch. Start that pipeline! The Starsan will be fine in a closed bottle for awhile. I keep mine around for a few weeks until it starts to smell funky. Sounds like you are going a bit overboard spraying the container. Only things that come in contact with...

    1st Label for Wedding Favor

I increased the exporting resolution to 200 dpi. Does this look better? Or when you guys post your label are you increasing the size much larger than it would appear on the label for everyone to see here?

Brooklyn Brewery Beer Dinner in Miami

Insanely jealous right now. I am actually sipping on a pint of the black chocolate stout right now. Wish I had the Pere Alla Birra to compliment it. I've been to the brewery a few times and am happy to hear you are enjoying such a great event in Miami Great pics!

    1st Label for Wedding Favor

Thanks for the feedback! I will post a high resolution image as soon as I figure out how haha. Perhaps I did something wrong with how I saved it. I saved it in inkscape as a .svg. To post just the label on here I selected what I wanted to display and exported it as a bitmap. Is there a better...

    1st Label for Wedding Favor

I have been checking out this site for months and I actually remember those examples. I even remember reading about your groomsman invites and thinking too bad I already asked my buddies. Nicely done. I have a rather simple neck label that has our names and the date, but I understand what you...

    1st Label for Wedding Favor

I’m just another brewer who popped his label cherry and is looking for a little critique. I have never used Inkscape or done any sort of graphic design before, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I plan on using this label for half of my wedding favors this February (the other half will...
