Anyone here tried Freeze Distillation/Ice Beer?

Think I might try this but with a 30 pack of bud light. Since it has such a light flavor to begin with it should be fairly drinkable without being too bitter.

    First Label

Hurray Arizona! Haven't tried mead before and can't get my hands on any, might you be willing to trade for a bottle of IPA?

Also the words on the car crash smash label should read bottom to top, left to right, and top to bottom.

The 2 nuts cracks me up! IMO the coffee stout label is just too brown. Maybe instead of the plain brown background go with a coffee plantation.

Optimal beer line length? What is it?

I'm telling you what I read from Dave Miller's book.

My Experience With The Coors Lite Home Draft (Video)

Just a quick fyi for anyone trying this. Be careful how much liquid you put into the bottle. I only left like an inch of headspace so when I screwed in the co2 canister it almost immediately activated the relief valve and shot cold co2 in my face. Its fine now but it takes a few minutes to...

Optimal beer line length? What is it?

That was probably done to provide for the correct resistance. The head pressure, carbonation level and type of tap determine how long that line should be. 10psi of head pressure means the line needs to impose 10psi of resistance. Find out what kind of line that is, how far the beer needs to...

My Experience With The Coors Lite Home Draft (Video)

Tomorrow I plan on picking up a couple co2 canisters and seeing if I can force carbonate some tap water and dispense. Would you mind if I posted my videos here? No need to create yet another forum imo.

    Miller Lite Home Draft Dissected

Ok, sacked up and drank all the coors light and have disassembled. It is the exact same system as the miller draft only it is black and silver. Gonna do a simple extract brew tomorrow and see how reusable this actually is.

    DIY Tumbler from Beer Bottles

I have a Stone 14th anniversary bottle sitting on a shelf begging to become a drink glass. Now if I just had the other 13 or so bottles and I would have the most kick ass bachelor glass set ever!

    Miller Lite Home Draft Dissected

Any info on how long the bottles hold up with beer inside them? Say I want to fill it with an IPA or Imperial Stout with wood chips and let it age for a year.

    Miller Lite Home Draft Dissected

Just saw an ad today for a Coors Light version of this, it also holds 5.7L. Seeing as how I dislike Coors just a bit less than Miller I might buy one and see if it is also reusable.

    Aquarium filtering beer?

Funny you should mention this as I just setup a 15 gallon reef yesterday, still a bit cloudy. I was thinking about using filter floss but some activated carbon might be interesting.

    Aquarium filtering beer?

I would run the whole setup using sanitizer for at least 30 minutes beforehand but I suppose one could connect the inlet to an autosiphon and the outlet to a bucket below the fermenter.

    Aquarium filtering beer?

The inlet is a submersible pump and the outlet would be below the surface of the beer. As long as the filter body was filled with beer before the pump was started only a small amount would be introduced. I plan on naturally carbonating so any small amount introduced should be scavenged by the...

    Aquarium filtering beer?

Is there any reason I cannot use a standard canister filter minus the chemical and biological components to filter beer? I was thinking simply rack the beer to the bottling bucket, setup the sanitized filter, prime and run the filter for like an hour to help remove at least some of the remaining...
