    Transfering half of Imperial Stout

    I split the 5.5g batch in 2 carboys. Now that fermentation is winding down I am thinking about how to combine them into one carboy for the initial secondary. My question is whether to leave the yeast in the carboy that gets transferred or dump it all in?

    Made a mess

    En mi pantalones that is. I just a drank a Lost Coast Downtown Brown followed by a Dechutes Black Butte Porter, two of my favorite beers. I cant believe how similar these two beers are. Both have the nutty chocolaty malty smoothness. My mouth is watering I better go have another two.
