    This is my 1st attempt at mead, followed this recipie with one alteration, I substituted limeade for lemonade concentrate (as limeade is inherently superior...). Its been ~24 H since I pitched the yeast and not seeing much int he way of signs of life, no bubbles, nothing at the airlock...

    Its been about 15 days and the beers still at 1.018 SG (1.041) SG. So approx 3% abv. Should i throw more yeast in or just deal with it being kinda weak?

    Maple Brown

    Thinking about adding some maple sugar to a BB English brown kit, what would be a good amount of maple syrup that wont overpower the rest of the flavors but at the same time be one of the dominant flavors in the beer? Is there anything else i'd have to adjust due to the extra sugar?

    either a kit or recipe will work I'll look at teh recipie section again most of what i saw was all grain I dont have the set up or experience to try that yet.

    brewers best robust porter kit i dont remember off the top of my head what yeast it was, dont have the empty baggie any more and none of the info online says what the yeast is
