I would make sure to have previously boiled the water for the ice block to be sure you keep it sanitary. Before I started full boils I had problems with off flavors

It certainly takes longer for dme to carbonate. I learned that one the hard way. I wouldn't worry too much and wait at the very least 3 weeks, probably longer. you'll be glad you did. I also carb with dextrose, It's cheap and takes less time. I don't really notice a difference although some...

I am using the williams oxygenation system as well I beleive it is a .5 micron diffusion stone

I just started full boils, and subsequently am using a pure oxygen system with a diffusion stone. My problem is even at a low setting the oxygen foams the wort so greatly I can't oxygenate for over a couple minutes without it trying to foam over. Would an anti foaming agent work or any other...

Does anyone prime their bottles with dme? If so does it produce any noticible flavor difference than corn sugar, and how much is generally used for a five gallon batch? thank you for a response!
