    HELP! Kegging problems Lincoln NE

I find the first pull out of the co2 tank seems to drop the high pressure quite a bit. then it stops. then it wont move til you are out. check theweight of the tank now. you should find a weight of the empty tank stamped somewhere. plus your co2. if you are close to it then you didnt loose too...

    Picnic tap vs regular tap

temp in your fridge will make a difference on psi. lower the temp, more carb in beer. you've carbed @12psi then down to 10psi. as you drink the beer, it will set @ 10psi = flatter beer. picnic tap has less foaming problem because the whole tap tends to stay in the fridge.

How essential is it to cool your draft tower?

warm beer may be only 4 oz or so but the tap is warm too and I find when i pour a glass, the tap looks very cold, by the time I finish my glass, the tap is warm again.... I am thinking of insulating the tower little more, using copper pipe to conduct the cold into the tower.

DIY Mash Tuns: Pros and cons of cube vs. "gatorade" style?

I went with the igloo 5gal in the pic. 10gal rubbermade gott cost way too much here also I would only do 5 gal batches and no big beer. I like my beer to be around 4-5% alc range. I figured 5gal cooler would be enough for this. I think the round cooler tends to be narrower thus deeper. If you...

    Jockey Box

hear carbonated liquid + copper/brass is not good idea. go with alminum or buy a chiller plate. if you can find a chiller plate off a pop machine, it works great. many used restaurant equipment places has them kicking. I bought 2 for $30. new will be somewhere around $300 for one.

are you doing all grain or partial mash?? all grain is where you start with just grain, no extract (syrup). mash= soaking of the grain in hot water lautering= filtering out the grain to get the wort sparging = washing the grain to get whats left of the wort. it is pretty simple. terms...

    Mold Problem in Kegerator

I think you need to figure out the main cause of this problem. where is the moisture comming from. I dont know what kind of keggrator you have but maybe your seal is bad. fridge has a cooling plate that collect moisture then there should be a drain that goes to a pan on top of the condensor...

    splitting co2 line

not the cheapest but get a manifold and check valves with shut off. its not expensive, it will save you incase you keep switching back and forth. no beer will go into your reg, also you dont have to keep pulling the connects. just turn the gas off at the manifold.
