5g NEIPA. = 4142.5

Brewing up 2 identical beers except for using citra/mosaic in both with a third hop being different in each. I have a few options in the freezer and figure it’ll come to me when I get to that point! Trying something a little different with my water... we’ll see it if gets rid of the strange off...

In Lancaster myself, Mount Joy to be exact. Have yet to make my way to Mad Chef but I think I may have found my reason! Congrats man that’s awesome!

3568. Brewed Braufessors blonde and only got to 4 gallons with a super high OG. Added a gallon of water and hit my OG right where I wanted it.

Nice. Thought I remembered reading about that calculator before but couldn’t remember what it was. Added just over a gallon and now I’m exactly where I wanted to be! Thanks!

Brewed this today mainly as a way to get a bunch of yeast. My BeerSmith wasn’t working correctly and I overconfidently guessed on the amount of water I needed. Sparged with about a gallon less than I should have. OG is way higher than it should be obviously. Think I should add some water to it...

Recently started attempting to harvest yeast with some success. Mostly brewing NEIPAs so there’s often too much hop trub. Decided to do Braufessors Blonde mainly for yeast purposes by also who doesn’t like an easy drinking blonde ale for the summer months?? And more importantly I felt obligated...

5 gallon IPA. 3343 + 5 = 3348

Just mashed in on an IPA. Rained like crazy all day yesterday and woke up to bright sunny skies! Hopefully taking this one on a guys trip to one of my buddies cabin in just under a month.

My dad taught me how to brew and we still regularly brew together. My favorite person to spend a brew day with!

If Monday counts as the weekend.. I’ll be giving a lesson on brewing (and more specifically all grain) to my brother and his roommate who have recently developed an interest in the hobby!

6 different NE IPAs all at 5gallons as well as a stout and a porter. Both 5 gallons as well. 2511.5 + 40 = 2551.5

Currently sparging on an NE IPA that I’ve basically made my house beer. Super nice day for brewing here in PA!
