    Yeah I know that. Is there a proper way to sanitize the corks that is unique to wine? Is K-Met recommended for the corks over starsans?

    That was my thought as well.. He actually ordered a Mabach as well and received the same yeast... IDK if he was going to call the supplier and tell them they messed up his order or just roll on... I'll try to remember to keep you posted on the taste when it's ready in a few...

    What does the yeast smell like? How do we know if it's good to begin with as far as smelling it... Obviously doing a starter and getting a good krausen on the starter constitutes a viable yeast strain but what about in regards to smell? I don't know if I've smelt the yeast before other than...
