    Less food, or less beer?

I was in the same boat. Love beer and love food. After I was done playing college football I gained 30lbs. So I got into running marathons. So now I can eat almost whatever I want and drink my beer because I know a 18 mile run is just around the corner!!!

    First batch in the bottle

Well, not really my first batch, but it's been about ten years since I've brewed so I am a nOOb. Bottling went well, just took a little long, but I'm sure I'll get better with experience. I did a Pale Ale extract kit from my LHBS. Original gravity was 1.040. I kept it in the primary for four...

2010 Bigfoot is on the loose!

Just picked up a 6 for $15.00 in South Jersey. I had to ask for it, they had it hidden in the back. The guy said he only had 3 cases of it and will only sell it the those who ask. The Bare Necessities

Yuengling is brewed in Pottsville PA and is about a hour from me in NJ. I love it. What is great about it is, it is a good tasting lager and is not very expensive. It used to be considered a cheep beer. The brewery used to be very small and could only distribute to a small area. In the past 10...

    How long in primary?

I had planed to bottle after my pale ale had sat in the primary for 3 weeks, but looking at the calender I'm not sure when I will be able to bottle. About how long can it sit in the primary? Thanks
