    Thanks for the info. I did use a siphon tube but it clogged with stuff. Then boom! Buy the way awesome site.

    to make it short made my first batch forgot to strain before carboy fermantation. Went to bed with signs of life. Woke up next morning with about 1-1/2 gallon on ceiling, cabinets, phone, floor. Lesson learned. My ? is can i use the rest of left over brew?
