    Opinions on this pot please

    In the market for a new pot so I can do full boils on a burner out doors. I found this one on ebay and it seems pretty heavy duty. I wouls like to drill and put a "spigot" on it. What do you guys think...

    Making JOAM, different yeast?

    I am making JAOM, but I am not keen on using the bread yeast. I have several wine yeast laying around, one being Lalvin K1-V116. It has an 12-14% range for alcohol. I am aiming for a semi-sweet mead. You think this yeast will be ok? Better than the bread yeast? Thanks

    New to the hobby.

    Hello everyone. I just started my first beer today. It is annapolis homebrew's penn. lager kit. I am using a 22 quart stainless pot on top of my electric flat top stove. I steeped the grains until 170 degress as instructed in the kit. Removed the grains and added my malt extract (6.5 lbs)...
