I started sampling my latest SMaSH beer (2-row and Huell Melon) 4 hours ago. I keep going back and pulling another 3 oz. This keg is going to last forever!

Worked on my keezer. It works fine, but I am just making upgrades. Today I added new beer lines and a bottle cap opener. Tomorrow, I hope to clean the keg that I kicked while doing said upgrades.

Whole hop, leaf or pellet? I've only done whole hops, so I'll speak to that. I've just thrown them in the secondary for 3-4 days. I understand that the longer you leave them in, different flavors will be drawn out. I also use a 6 gallon carboy for a 5 gallon batch. That way the hops float on...

Broke mine a few months ago. Set it aside in the drying rack to dry and hit it ever so slightly with my arm and snapped it right off. 2024

I don't own a FF, but I've noticed the same with my Better Bottles. After letting them sit in open air for a day or two the smell left. No residuals.

Organized my keezer, only to realize that I have a ton of bottled beer and not enough room for kegs. Also jumped for joy when my California V yeast finally started doing it's job in the IIPA I brewed yesterday.

I'd trade it in as well. That said, is also check the "rules" posted on the blue rhino cage. Just to be sure. Around here is cheaper to exchange for a blue rhino, then when empty go get it filled at the local hardware store.
