Why not contact Spike's customer service as they suggested? They said they didn't experience these issues in their testing so maybe you just received a bad CIP ball.

Any updates on the Spike conicals? I just came into a little money and finally want to pull the trigger on a conical. The website says summer 2017. Just wondering if this is accurate. I can definitely wait a couple more months if that's the case.

This is good timing. I reserved the Rose de Gambrinus, Kriek, and the 2007 Iris at my local craft beer store Sunday. Picking them up after work today. I'm new to the wild yeast fermented beers. I can't wait to taste them.

I guess it looks like it in the picture. Never noticed until you said something. The shelves are held with 8 screws each so I don't think it's going anywhere. I guess it would be wise to find out the weight limitations of the rack. :D
