    Favorite bands of all time....

There are still some great young bands doing it hard in the pub scene. Depending on your musical taste, there are some really excellent bands getting around Australia. If you look hard enough, you can see awesome shows without going to a stadium and even pick up a cheap CD to help the band...

    Favorite bands of all time....

My top 5 would be: 1. Guns N Roses 2. Killswitch Engage 3. Metallica 4. Aerosmith then daylight, and number 5 is hard to pick... 5. Probably Chilli Peppers or Pearl Jam... but more so their early stuff.

    Irregardless

I don't know if its been said already, but I hate it how people tend to write loose instead of lose. For example... I've been going to the gym to loose a few pounds. I guess if the weight was loose, you could LOSE it quicker.... *******!! /rant

You, my friend, have great taste. The new BFMV album is pretty cool. I'm seeing KsE on the 24 and 27 this month. Once at a festival, the second time their own show. It gonna be sweet.

"polishing your keg" is more than a clever euphemism

Oh oh... PeteOz77 has seen this thread... I bet next time I look over the fence he'll be "polishing his keg"...... Time to build a taller fence.... LOL

I second the nomination of Rise Against and Funeral for a Friend. Although FFAF have gone a bit soft with the last 2 albums, Casually Dressed and Deep in Conversation was a surperb album and these boys rock in concert. My fav band is Killswitch Engage, but only if you like the music that has...

    Overcoming the bitterness.

Neighbour, that Munich Lager is damn fine. And like I said, with time that bitterness will go. Damn I love it when I'm right. I bet the other brew will be fine too... just give it time. And the only good chess is "Battle Chess"... but that is another story.... X rated however. :)

    Found these cool stubby bottles!

VB, Bud, Tooheys New, MGD, XXXX, Fosters............ its all crap. But the point is... the bottles are similar I think. Don't know about the capacity though... I don't do ounces.

    Beer Is Good For You!

24 beers in a case. 24 hours in a day. Coincidence??

    Found these cool stubby bottles!

Those bottles look kinda like VB bottles here in Aus. VB is probably the Aussie equivalent of Budweiser, except not as tasteles.... but almost.

Who would you pick for president?

"What rolls down stairs alone or in pairs Rolls over your neighbor's dog? What's great for a snack and fits on your back? It's Log, Log, Log! It's Log, Log, it's big, it's heavy, it's wood. It's Log, Log, it's better than bad, it's good! Everyone wants a log...

    SWMBO be PISSED

Tell em about the tomato paste and cheese incident.... LOL! I don't have a story of my own, but my Uncle once poured a bag of Sodium Metabisulphate into his wort instead of dextrose.... Hahaha.... he was bewildered by the smell until he had another look at the empty bag!!! Poor bugger.

    Pissed Off/Venting

No way man, I know the 3 legged hound, and she would let PeteOz chop all her legs off if he was so inclined.... luckily I don't think he's prone to psychotic behaviour! Plus he'd have to carry her everywhere.... :rockin:

    are you an alcoholic?

Right on, Neighbour!! That said... you are more of an alco than me. :) But if that's what you need to make me interesting... I can live with that cos you keep giving me your fantastic beer. Just no cheese and tomato paste in mine, thanks.... :)

    PATIENCE! (Proper Ageing)

Yeah, that one was 6 months old... good proof that beers get better with a little age! :)

    Australia Day 2008

I had a great Australia Day. Played Cricket and got my first 50 with the bat, and my first "bowled" with the ball. I even broke the bail. Got man of the match and 2 free beers. Its a beautiful thing.

    PATIENCE! (Proper Ageing)

The keg drains even quicker when you keep giving your neighbour a sample of your beers too! Not complaining mind you... great beer. Now that I've started brewing again, in a month or so I can offer you some of my beer.

    Possible Brewery Name?

Tis an excellent idea, neighbour. I look forward to looking over the fence and seeing the Three Legged Hound sign proudly displayed. But in Aussie tradition... the Red Ale would have to be called "Barking Bluey" Mmmm... my hops are almost done... time to mix up my brew!
