    Bottling- same batch/ 1 bottle infected?

    I have had an infection in a single bottle. I don't think it was rinsed well when emptied and then grew some funk in it. It was the only one in the batch like that, and that's the best explanation i could come up with.

    The last time I did I was stationed in Alaska at a going away party. My daughter had just turned 1, and was in one of those kid backpacks, it was pouring down rain and I was holding an umbrella. Yes, I had the fastest time by far.

    Home Brew Stuff or Northern Brewer

    I use the same setup with braid. I have never had a stuck sparge and my gravity is always a little higher than target. I built it myself for less that $40.

    Syrupy wheat

    I took my sample from the very top. I only have about 4.5 gallons in a 6.5 gallon carboy, used a turkey baster to draw my sample and it was only 1/4" maybe 1/2" into the beer. There was no off flavor or smell that I noticed and other wise things look normal so my worries are minimal right now.
