    very true, oxidation can occour moving your brew to much ide just leave it in the primary and throw out the idea of the secondary, hey you may even use your secondary for another batch! :rockin:

    I would up your light dme keep it around 6 lbs, keep your dextrin low somewhere in the 6oz range and prolly around 12oz of crystal 40L then shoot up to like 12oz. to 1lb of pale 2-rows. run your hops in and out if you have the patience like .25oz at a time time minutes in and change ide prolly...

    hey man you may also consider working in some pale 2-row grains during your steeping process...

    i would dry hop just add your dry hops to your fermenter after the Final Gravity is where you want it and also, DME tends to make your brews a little darker in color than an all grain brew would, as far as a pale ale body ide definately go with the light dme

    I would lower your dme and lme and opt for some more grains, dme tends to make the beers extra malty from my experience this might bring out some of the hoppy taste and aroma for you, I might also use a liquid yeast maybe wlp001

    14 days out and still airlock activity on an Abby Ale

    I would ride it out a couple more days and take a couple more readings, then transfer to your secondary... Thats what I would do man...

    okay almost 24 hours after pitching the yeast and am now starting to see a little movement in the airlock... thanks everyone
