I am confused by your response. How would you bottle and then add priming sugar? It normally only takes 2 weeks to get carbonation when bottle priming.

Bigger beers are usually easier to force carbonate in my experience. The added bourbon might be the issue, but not sure. If you have the capabilities, get a kegging setup for beers like that IMO.

I will sell other stuff too, I will just need some time to decide how I want to package it up and price it. I will prefer local pick up depending on the interest. Can't ship kettles though.

Still trying to sell these for $600... Even though I think it is way less than they are worth.

I will do $600 for the 3 kettles, no fittings included except for what connects the HERMS coil to the HLT inside and the mash screen and sight glass for HLT.

Try adding steeping grains or doing a mini-mash on the stove. You can use a small pot you already have and a cheap grain bag. Only adds 30 minutes to an hour or so and can really add some nice flavors to the Mr. Beer kits. I loved doing the Mr. Beer kits and made some great beers with them.

People use the spa panels because for some reason they are cheaper than just buying a gfci breaker. You can buy a regular breaker sized for your circuit to the spa panel. The spa panel will come with the gfci breaker in it.

I can't part out unless I can get rid of the kettles. I need to downsize due to divorce. I feel my price is pretty low/reasonable, but I just need to get rid of it for space considerations. If I can find someone who just wants the kettles I will let you know.

Extract beers are a great way to go if you don't feel like going all-grain. Going with a good yeast strain and adding steeping grains can make a world of difference.

I would probably do $1000 for all the kettles to get them out. I believe I paid $600 or a little more for just the HLT. They might be 9.8 gallon. I see they sell both sizes. I want to sell them all as a set since they would be harder to part out.
