RDWHAHB I have forgotten this step plenty of times. It will settle in your bucket/carboy and your beer will taste just fine.

3rd AG brew for me was the best and was a Scottish Ale (St. Andrews Clone). First two I had a cheap thermometer and ended up brewing at way too low a temperature making the beer like roasted barley water.

You get my vote for most pumped up brewer of the month award! :rockin:

What temp is the fermentation happening at? 60's, 70's?

I have had many a temptation to drink flat beer because the initial taste was spot on. Just think if it's good now just wait for the carbonation and a week or so's rest in the bottles will do. Making a Wit this weekend I think. Andy

Awesome! Heard they were thinking of bringing it back but, from what I had read they had not done that yet. Well that is good news but, I still cannot drink it without a plane ticket so I'm still going to try to replicate it. Now at least I have some better descriptions.

I'm looking forward to it for sure. Hopefully someone on here has tasted it also so that I can get some feedback on it.

Hey Guys, Trying to revive a brew from my home town that's been dead for quite sometime. My Dad has talked a long time about this beer being close to Newcastle Brown Ale but, that it was much smoother and had more of a head on it. Since I have never actually tried the beer it makes it hard...

Added about a pound and a half of light brown sugar. I harvested some yeast off the starter and have another batch going just in case this one sticks. If it doesn't get amazingly dry it won't kill me but would like to get it around 1.025. Started out around 1.090. Would it be wise to wait...

Hey Everyone, I have my Saison just starting to bubble. I have heard after a day or so to allow it to get into the 80's temperature wise. What is your opinion on that? Andy

Welcome to AG. I get the same effect sometimes when I use Irish Moss and Pelletized hops usually during the cooling of the wort. It will settle and your beer will be fine.
