    What size cider press?

    What volume of press do I need just to make a few home brews in gallon demijohns? Could I use 2l demijohns to ferment in or are they not big enough?

    Roughly how many apples makes how many lites? If you have a demi john (5l) that isn't quite full to the brim, can you top it up with apple juice?

    Bacteria a problem?

    When making cider, do you have to be worried about bacteria getting into the liquid while it's fermenting or other stages? How can you stop this when just making a home brew?
