Irish Red Ale Caffrey's Irish Ale clone

Thanks for the reply. It has been several years since I did this, but I believe that I just put it in the key and used the nitrogen mix. Then using a stout faucet it came out creamy.

Wort chiller (IC whirlpool) and frozen yeast bank kit - Los Angeles

Local pick up from me in Hollywood Hills. 1. chiller 50ft 1/2" copper whirlpool chiller, will extra arm to whirlpool. It attaches to a pump to recirculate the wort via hoses. It cooled me my 5 gallon batches in less than 15 minutes. Can also be used without pump as traditional ic, but will...

    Order not shipped

Not bashing AHS, but NB ships super quick - usually within 24 hours. BMW also ships quickly. Also if you require a shipment quickly you can always up the shipping to express options. If I am placing an order online which includes yeast I typically place my order on a Friday night or Saturday...

Home Brewer TV #33... Water and Hops

I have seen all 33. Got to say that I think they are improving each time. I think this episode was one the best. Also in the tasting room segment you have been pouring perfect pints in the last few episodes. Good job.

    Blichmann Top Tier Stand Help

Yeah it takes a while to build. I think it took me the best part of a day, including a trip to Lowes for the pipe. As for tips... - Figure out your configuration before you start. Nothing worse than lifting those heavy burners on and off. - I picked up a torque wrench from Sears for about $25...

Sweet Stout Left Hand Milk Stout Clone

Another thumbs up. I left it about 4 months in secondary and it tastes good. I like this much better than the mint choc stout recipe posted here. You can taste the chocolate, but there is less of it.

    Wort chiller disappointment

+1 I bet your faucet water is too warm. That is the problem I found when I tried one. I could not get the cooling water cool enough and was forced to run the wort through it at a trickle. So I ended up selling and going back to an IC.

    Conical, Blinkman vs. Stout Tanks

I went onto the Stout site today for the first time in a couple of months. Has his prices gone up? The standard 7.3g seem to be about 20% higher.

    Caribou Slobber

I am thinking of ordering this AG kit. The kit has Wyeast 1332 Northwest Ale. I have some other yeasts in stock. Rather than buying more yeast, do you think any of these would work well? Wyeast 1469 West Yorkshire Ale Wyeast 1026 Cask Ale Wyeast 1450 Denny's Fav 50 Wyeast 1028 London Ale Wyeast...
