I have used 24 oz. Mt. Dew bottles. Used the same bottles and original caps for 3-4 batches now. Works great and no leaks. Just tighten the caps as tight as you can by hand. To clean for the first use I put a little Oxyclean in each bottle and let them set for a couple of hours...rinse the crap...

I found wort chillers on sale at homebrewery.com. 3/8", 25' copper IC for $39.95. Bought one and it works great. Cooled 3 and a half gallons from boiling to 69 degrees in about 7 minutes. We have really cold tap water here. (From a well.) Not a bad price.
