    Beer and a Cigar anyone?

Now BOURBON is the way to go. . . But medium bodied smokes go great with english style beer carbed to real ale levels, my fave recently was a NUB Cameroon and some of my Mild.

    Do homebrewers smoke?

cigars are one of the great joys of my life, and great for some special "me" relaxation time. Rarely do I brew without one.

Brewing the Hangover out of the Beer...

Tannins in things like red wine and barrel aged liquor (like bourbon, scotch and other dark spirits) can contribute to a hangover, especially to people who may have an allergy to such things.

    Gender Confusion?

Is that some hermaphroditic goodness in the lower righthand corner of this picture? This is a plant that has been left to the wild by my fiancees uncle. I am concerned because we have grown a cutting of this plant with my other hops, and I am curious if I will have to remove it. I have not...

My "brewery" is called Tres Perros, because I have three dogs. The SWMBO gets credit for that one. I tend to name all my beer, though I dont necessarily label them all. Usually the name is just something that amuses me at the time. For Example: I had an IPA that I brewed while watching...

    Is this how saisons taste?

I thought the Golden Cap pretty good. A little unusual, but nothing freakishly different than other Saisons, which are kind of known for their variety anyway. . .

    2009 Hop garden picture thread.

Well we finally got a week straight of warm, sunny weather here, and it looks like my hops wont completely suck ass this year, or at least with some babying, things bode well for next year. Here is some update photos: Chinook Nugget Cascade And the clipping from SWMBO...

    Where are my hops??

Patience is definitely advised. I finally have bines on two of my plants long enough to train, and sprouts on all for spots. This weeks warmth and sun really helped!
