    Electric Keggle Parts Help

I'm going to convert my keggle to electric with a 240v water heater element. My question is, what PID & SSR do I need to just control the element (no thermometer connected)? I'm going to install a GFCI breaker. I'm only using this controller for the keggle. Maybe someone can point me...

    Hop Holder?

Would it work ok if you left the first "tea ball" in & added an additional "tea ball", so on & so forth? Do you fully utilize the hops when they are in a "tea ball"? I'm looking at this method myself because I have an electric keggle & do not want to burn the bags.

Can I use a hop bag along with heat sticks? Can the hop bag come in contact with the heating element(s) or will that burn a hole in the bag? Thanks, Brad

    Another Electric Question

I just got my keggle. I would like to add a water heater element some day. I will only use this for boiling water/wort. I will not be using AG (at least not for a long time) 95% of the batches will be 5 gallon / 5% maybe 10 gallon. Do not want switches, PID's, SSR's, ect.... Do...

    Received Free Brew Kit

I'm was getting ready to buy a home brew kit when a freind said to hold off because he had an unopened one that was a gift. He gave it to me today & with the equipment was a ale kit. My question is, what, in the kit, expires? I saw an expiration date on the yeast (Nov. 2000) but what about...
