I followed Bobby_M's advice & ground the threads off the 1/2" MPT connectors. Use a clamp to secure the silicone tubing. Works great & doesn't have the flow restriction of the barbed threads.

Just another data point, 'cuz this thread isn't long enough already: I made an in store purchase at AHS on 1/26, and the card has not been compromised so far. Keeping my fingers firmly crossed and my eyeballs on the account.

BTW, the prepaid labels are not the same as "free shipping" - you will be charged the postage when they bill you for the tests. That said, it's a nice option, and easier than dealing with the PO.

They're local to me & let me stop by the warehouse. I was quite impressed - it's clean, organized, & busy. They look to be keeping 5 or 6 folks (at least) employed in today's economy. Gotta be doing something right...
