    Running co2 lines through fridge...

Same exact issue. Got the set up as a gift. I'd rather have another corny in the fridge than a 20lb tank. Is it common to put a hole in the side of a fridge and run the hose through it? I have pretty thick red gas hose that came with the set, ok to just run that through a clean cut hole? I...

    Keggle conversions

Ok, I just got a barrel and have someone who will cut the top out and weld in the fitting for a drain. My question is what do I do about a false bottom? I don't think a bazooka filter will come anywhere close to the bottom of the keg. Is it easier to just get an 11in plate of SS and drill...

    Partial mash/extract recipe

OOOh, that looks tasty. Thanks! The store here sells mostly liquid extract. I'm cobbling together an A/G system and in the meantime I am stuck with the partial mash. The "plan" is to make a partial batch now and in 2-3 weeks start A/G with the first batch kind-of mimmicing the partial mash...

    Partial mash/extract recipe

I'm looking for a partial mash recipe for my second batch. Something fairly easy. Like a wheat or an IPA, you know, a summer/springish brew. Any clever ideas, or where do I look for some partial recipes? TIA, David

    Party Pig??

I've got alot of learning to do, I thought the co2 pouches were supposed to carbonate the beer. Guess I'd better look into this. Seem to be getting a good deal though, $10 for 2 party pigs and one pouch. It all looks like it's in good shape too.

    Party Pig??

Someone at work is trying to sell me two of these, I think he used them only a few times in the last couple years. Is there any O-ring kit or any rebuilding these require? Sorry, I am new to the "pig" idea and have never really looked at them to see how they work. Thanks, David

    Newbie from Oregon

Hello, I got the home brew bug many years ago and just brewed my first batch (partial grain) last month. I'm stoked! The wife will never forgive my family for granting my wish and giving me a starter kit for Christmas last year. I'm already workin on the equipment to go all-grain and am very...
