Which esp32. I had all sorts of issues with an S2 mini build freezing up etc a while back and have been just fine with the classic d1 mini esp8266 instead. I haven’t tried the a S2 again in a while cause I’ve been busy.

Ive had the s2mini freeze a third time this time in the middle of cooling with the relay stuck on. I have swapped out the board for a esp8266 d1 mini to hopefully have some stability back as well as see if its something goofy with my setup or if there is still a bug on the s2 mini.

Mine saved as something.tar.xz seems kinda strange to have two file extensions. It wants to open with raspberry pi imager as the default program so I’m not sure how big it is unzipped. As far as the beta s2 firmware it ran through the night so all looks good. No freezing no weird screen issues...
