    Homebrewtalk Carboy Cleaner Giveaway

I would love to have one of these because I hate using the toilet brush to clean my stuff and it takes forever and I can't use the brush on my PET bottles. If I had one of these I could brew more too.

Another reason not to bottle in a growler

Water does not compress, air does...so the more air in the headspace the more room for error. Warning do not try this at home...do it at someone else's house so you can sue them for your stupidity. My friends and I were knocking the bottoms out of bottles by filling them with water...

anyone using a pressure cooker "autoclave"?

Yea, a hotplate should work, just so you can turn down the heat once you reach pressure so it doesn't build up faster than it can release it.

anyone using a pressure cooker "autoclave"?

Depends on your type, I fill mine to above the water line, put the contents in and seal it up, put 15 lbs of weight on it and start to heat it up until it starts the weight rocking, lower heat and wait 10 minutes, remove from heat, and wait till presure valve releases to open. I'm not sure...

    Ways to Siphon Your Beer

I use the carboy cap and CO2. I didn't see that you have tried them all...I have also seen where you add a "T" in the middle of your racking hose with a short piece of hose attached, pinch the hose that goes into the receiving vessel, suck on the "T" hose you added, when the liquid starts...

    easy start simple siphon

Anybody just use a "T" inline? Just add a "T" conector and a lenth of tubing in the middle of you racking hose. Pinch the hose on the empty side, suck and release, then either pinch or keep the end of the added on hose above the carboy to prevent loss.
