    DIY Sight Gauge

    I have used polycarbonate tubing from McMaster p/n 9176T28 it is $10.08 for an 8' piece. I use a 90 deg compression fitting and run the tube(cut to length) to the top. I use a s.s. eye bolt to hold it at the top. Very simple,durable, and inexpensive. The poly tubing is good to 250 deg F

    Starting with 2 gallons

    Alot of the recipes I am seeing tell you to start with 2 gallons of water, then when finished to add more cold water. If you have a big enough pot is it ok to just use 5-5.5 gallons to start??

    Forced carbonation at bottling

    I recently went with a buddy to a place where he brewed beer 3 weeks ago. We were there to bottle. Insert tube into bottle hit CO2 button for 5 sec. then fill bottle and cap. Just wondering where this equipment could be purchased.
